STORRS: Meet with Rep Merrill on Trans Rights

A community conversation with
State Representative and Majority Leader Denise Merrill

Monday, March 30 at 7 PM
University of Connecticut Student Union
2110 Hillside Road, Rm. 304B

Love Makes a Family and our coalition partners* are working hard to make sure 2009 is the year to pass a law protecting transgender people in Connecticut from discrimination. Rep. Merrill is a longtime supporter of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender (LGBT) community. Please come to thank her for her support, and to learn what you can do to make LGBT equality a reality in CT.
House Bill 6452: An Act Concerning Discrimination would add gender identity or expression to CT's non-discrimination laws, making CT the first state in the country with equal protections for all LGBT citizens. Learn more.

This event is free and open to the public. For more information or to RSVP, please contact Gannon Long, LMF Community Organizer, at gannon@lmfct.org or 860-525-7777 x315.
